 FOR CASUAL SUBMISSIONS OF PHOTOGRAPHS PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:

​1.  Ensure the photo is high resolution, sharp, well focused and with the subject visible completely.  i.e. no body parts missing unless it is an intentional close-up.
2.  Unless you are familiar with editing software, no processing is preferred.  Do not apply 'filters',  do not crop.

​3.  Try to ascertain what the subject is.  Subjects with a correct ID will receive quicker attention from the editor(s).   Provide some background info on your photo or location.
4.  Forward your image as a non-compressed JPEG attachment to your email addressed to:   mailittoerik  @  gmail.  com   (no spaces)

Be aware that by submitting any image and/or text to 'The Northern Rivers Project' you automatically agree to share the copyright to the image and/or text with 'The Northern Rivers Project' and you will allow 'The Northern Rivers Project' to publish the image and/or text on it's web-site as is or modified as well as in any other 'The Northern Rivers Project' publication in perpetuity.  You also agree that once published, your image and/or text can only be removed from 'The Northern Rivers Project' web-site at the discretion of it's editor(s).  Note you are otherwise still free to do as you please elsewhere with the image and/or text.

NOTE:    Photos containing or depicting people will not be accepted for this purpose.
Emails containing attachments other than JPEG will not be opened.
Not all photos submitted are guaranteed publication on the web-site.

FOR CASUAL SUBMISSIONS OF TEXTS AND OR OTHER INFORMATION PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:

1.  Start by telling us who you are, what you intend to do  and what interests you in the subject matter to be covered.   Your initial contact email should not include any attachments at this stage.  Allow us to get back  to you before going any further. ​
2.  For proper articles:   provide a short outline or synopsis of the intended text.  
3.  What resources will be used?  Not all resources are appropriate; we may be able to help.
4.  Submit your draft by emailing it as a 'Word' document (or equivalent) to;   mailittoerik  @  gmail.  com   (no spaces) Be sure to include all references used for cross checking.
5.  Allow some time for us to read the draft and offer any questions/comments before finalizing your text and re-submitting it .
6.  Do you have photos?  And do they need editing?    See 'photograph guidelines' above.  The same copyright conditions apply as well.
7.  Once re-submitted your work is pretty well certain to appear on TNRP's web-site.  Please allow up to 4 weeks for that to happen.  Once published we will inform you straightaway.

NOTE:   Photos depicting adult people or containing recognizable adult people, not minors,  may be accepted for this purpose but it is your responsibility to ensure that all appropriate approvals for publication have been obtained and it is your responsibility also to provide TNRP with the appropriate documentation to substantiate that.  (Edit.: From a legal point of view, the above issue is best avoided altogether.)
